Are Your Children Being Exposed To The Homosexual Agenda?

Since gay couples cannot have children of their own, homosexual activists are taking aim at your kids. They want to desensitize and condition them to be ready to accept their sexual perversion and deviant behavior. Under the guise of "diversity" or "inclusiveness" or "equal rights", they are pushing this agenda on your kids little by little. Here are just a few recent examples.

The California Department of Education is now mandating homosexual themed books for children in all grades.

"It's Elementary" is a homosexual propaganda film aimed at helping homosexual activist teachers in desensitizing their students.

In Maine, a school came under fire for allowing their children to be exposed to a presentation by a group of perverts, teaching them about homosexual foreplay during a "Diversity Day" presentation.

In Massachusetts a school allowed a blasphemous play to be shown to kids which offended many Christians. The homosexual themed play made a mockery of the Biblical book of Genesis.

In Massachusetts, if a confused boy thinks he is a girl, he will be allowed to use the girl's bathroom and locker rooms. A girl who wants to be a boy will be extended the same privilege.

We should be teaching children that everyone is a child of God, and should be treated with respect regardless of whatever psychological disorder they have. We should be helping people with same-sex attraction or with gender identity disorder to seek psychological help in order to overcome their condition. We shouldn't be enabling or encouraging them in their destructive sins. And above all, we should be teaching children in school the subject material they need to be successful in life. They should learn (when old enough) that sex is exclusively between married men and women in order to show their love and to procreate and that everyone else is called to chastity. We should not be teaching students how to have sex, whether heterosexual or any other type.

Kristy Howard, the parent of one of those kids in Maine exposed to the Diversity Day presentation summed it up perfectly by saying "I don't want my child taught heterosexual foreplay, let alone homosexual foreplay".

Pope Benedict XVI spoke of this problem this past December. He said that this new LGBT movement is dangerous because “the very notion of being--of what being human really means--is being called into question.” Humans are created male and female. Sex between these males and females creates new life, and ensures the continuation of the human race. Men and women are thus two halves of a whole. We are each given one of those genders and are then made to accept and make sense of it, joining together to create children. When we try to have sex with the same gender, change genders or act as the opposite gender, we are going against this natural structure of the family. We don't want to be dependent on the other gender to complete us. People who engage in this behavior know they cannot create new life, but still sometimes feel they have a right to a child. The child becomes an object whose own rights are cheapened.

Jesus Accepts Everyone?

Confused Catholics who hold on to the illusion that the Church will some day embrace contraception, sexual immorality, the homosexual lifestyle or any other sin often point to the fact that Jesus associated with sinners and embraced everyone. This does not mean that Jesus condoned their actions. This is like saying that a doctor accepts cancer and thinks tumors are good to have, because he hangs out on the oncology floor with cancer patients all the time.

Jesus engaged with sinners specifically to call them to repentance. In Matthew 9:10 when Jesus ate with sinners and tax collectors, the Pharisees reproached Him. Jesus told them bluntly that this was necessary to help them turn to God just as it would be necessary for a sick person to receive the care of a Doctor. Jesus wasn't taking part in or accepting their sinful lifestyle, but helping them to turn away from it.

In John 8: 1-11, when Jesus told the Jews not to stone the adulterous woman, He wasn't condoning adultery. He mercifully told her that He would forgive her, but that she was to "sin no more".

Saint Paul chastises us in 1 Corinthians 15: 33-34 "Do not be deceived. Bad Company ruins good morals. Come to a sober and righteous mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to our shame." That is, we are not to consort with sinners, accepting or partaking in their lifestyle.

This does not mean that we are to stop helping our neighbor regardless of their sins, while calling them to repentance. The Corporal Works of Mercy command us to minister to the sick, imprisoned, homeless, ect. while The Spiritual Works of Mercy call us to help them turn away from their sins. Jesus instituted the sacrament of reconciliation for the exact purpose of receiving sinners back into communion with Him.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church sums it up nicely in section 1443: "During his public life Jesus not only forgave sins, but also made plain the effect of this forgiveness: he reintegrated forgiven sinners into the community of the People of God from which sin had alienated or even excluded them. A remarkable sign of this is the fact that Jesus receives sinners at his table, a gesture that expresses in an astonishing way both God's forgiveness and the return to the bosom of the People of God."

Jesus accepts everyone. Everyone who turns back to Him.

Pope Francis Lays Down the Hammer, Reminds Us of Church's True Mission

We hear the calls coming from secular society, the media, politicians and confused Catholics about the direction the Church needs to go in. She must open up and allow the laity to help decide moral issues, must allow women priests, embrace homosexuality and catch up with the times on issues like contraception, abortion and every other new trendy pursuit.

These people don't understand the nature of Holy Mother Church, but luckily the Holy Father wasted no time this morning in his first homily as Pope in reminding us about exactly what the Church's mission is.

"We can walk all we want, we can build many things, but if we don't proclaim Jesus Christ, something is wrong. We would become a compassionate NGO and not a Church which is the bride of Christ...He who does not pray to the Lord prays to the devil. When we don't proclaim Jesus Christ, we proclaim the worldliness of the devil, the worldliness of the demon."

That is, The Church is not simply a worldly charitable organization, subject to the whims and tastes of a majority of it's human members, conforming it's positions to whatever current socially acceptable practices it sees around it. It is the Bride of Christ and at the same time His Mystical Body, with the sole purpose of leading souls to Heaven, by teaching them His laws. It is accountable to and guided by God and God only.

Her Priests are not glorified social workers, striving to conform to whatever debauchery and societal ills their flock is engaging in so that they don't offend them. They are men who take the place of Christ at The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, uniting us, His Bride, with Him. Their mission is to feed us Christ's Body and Blood, forgive our sins in His name and to guide us to Heaven to be with Him.

As Pope Francis says, we are called to be holy. We are called to seek Christ first. When we don't do this, we are cooperating with the Evil One.

The Church has a clear social mission, and the Holy Father has provided us with a wonderful example of how this works. Regardless of whether or not a person is a sinner, we are commanded by Our Blessed Lord to minister to that person's needs. We are not, however, to enable that person in their sins, by refusing to condemn them. Christ told us to love our neighbor. When we love some one, we want to provide them with food and clothes, but also we want to help free them from the slavery of sin. We want them to be happy with Jesus in Heaven forever. When we refuse to do this, we aren't doing them any favors, and are in fact, proclaiming "the worldliness of the devil."

Clearing Up the Catholic Teaching on Homosexuality

Sex was designed by God for the continuation of the human race. It's first purpose is procreation and it's second purpose is to foster unity between a husband and wife. The Catholic Church is very clear that any sexual act which deliberately blocks procreation becomes totally about selfish pleasure and is immoral. This means condoms, masturbation, homosexual sex, ect.

Gay sex does not result in procreation. It is solely about pleasure, and is invalid. Homosexual couples sometimes claim a right to have a child but since this is impossible, they often seek to adopt children born from from some other heterosexual relationship. Homosexuals who adopt children may be harming these children in the long term. Sure, children are sometimes harmed in heterosexual households but that doesn't mean we should seek these situations out.

University of Texas sociology professor Mark Regnerus conducted a study which found that children who lived with same sex parents face social and emotional problems more often than children who lived with both a mother and father.

Recent CDC statistics reinforce the already well known fact that men who have sex with other men are at a dramatically higher risk of contracting HIV/AIDS. This may be due to the inherent risk of man-on-man sex, but also to the fact that fidelity is much less common among gays. The 1978 research done by Alan P. Bell and Martin S. Weinberg showed that homosexuals are much more promiscuous than heterosexuals.

There is a lot of other research showing the harmful effects of homosexuality on individuals, including higher instances of drug use and psychological problems.

People who claim that the Catholic Church hates gays are misinformed or being dishonest. The Church is very clear in it's Catechism that homosexual actions are disordered and never acceptable, however, people with homosexual tendencies are to be treated with respect and dignity. The Church wants them to be free from the negative consequences that homosexual behavior brings about. They are called to live as Christians in chastity. The Church approved a ministry to help homosexuals in their struggle. The Catholic Church is the world's largest private provider of care to HIV/AIDS victims. Even the Gay Alliance knows this, as they encourage homosexuals afflicted with HIV/AIDS to seek out Catholic Charities on their website.

Catholic and Pro-Abortion?

In New York state, the rate of abortion is twice the national average and in parts of New York city, as many as 60% of pregnancies end in abortion. A woman can get an abortion at any stage of the pregnancy, even late term, as long as her "life is at risk". Governor Andrew Cuomo, however thinks that there aren't enough abortions and so he is pushing to change state law to make them even easier to get. He now wants to allow abortions when the woman's "health" is at risk. This all according to Dr. Anne Nolte, a family physician, who knows a thing or two about women's health. She is leading a protest against Gov. Cuomo's plans. She says that a pregnant woman's "health" in this sense, doesn't only mean her physical health, but her mental health as well. So essentially unrestricted access to abortion will be allowed as long as a woman can get a doctor to certify that she is experiencing anxiety.
Dr. Nolte explains the real effects of abortion on women

Gov. Cuomo, supposedly a practicing Catholic, is supporting a grave evil, is in danger of losing his soul, and is taking millions of Catholic with him, by his bad example. The fact that public figures like him support the murder of innocent babies and then masquerade as decent "Catholics" causes scandal to others. Other Catholics see that one can support abortion, and still remain a Catholic in good standing, because the Bishops are not excommunicating them or even speaking out much against it. People that say that politicians should not impose their morality on others are wrong. What's good for Catholics is also good for others. Simple research shows that people from all faiths, doctors and even atheists see that abortion is wrong.

This is not the case in other countries. Catholic politicians in Latin America are held to account for their actions by their Bishops.

Holy Father Benedict XVI, now Pope Emeritus, travelled to Latin America back in 2007 while many of these predominantly Catholic countries were considering legalizing abortion. Then-Pope Benedict said that Catholic politicians who support or vote for intrinsic evils such as abortion incur automatic excommunication on themselves (in accordance with Canon Law) and therefore cannot not receive Holy Communion.
Pope Benedict tells pro-abortion Catholic politicians they are excommunicated

A Bishop in Uruguay stated in October of 2012 that all of the Catholic politicians in his country who voted to legalize abortion incurred automatic excommunication on themselves.
Bishop in Uruguay excommunicates pro-abortion Catholic politicians

The purpose of excommunication is not to seek vengeance on those who we disagree with politically. It is to stop the grave scandal being caused to other Catholics by public figures, thereby helping them save their souls. It is also meant to be a wake up call to the individual politician for him to repent and save his own immortal soul. Let's ask our Bishops to set a good example and hold people within the Church accountable so that we all will live our lives in accordance with Christ's laws and be happy with Him forever in Heaven someday.

Will the New Pope Reform the Church?

The Church is protected from error in her teachings. The Pope and his Bishops, speaking on matters of faith and morals are guided by the Holy Spirit and always will be until the end of time. Jesus made that guarantee when he told Peter, "You are rock and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." Mt. 16:18 and "I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Mt 18:18.

The Church's teachings do not in fact flow from the Church at all. They flow from God. The Church is merely the deliverer of these teachings, has no authority to change them, and in any case would be guided against this by the Holy Spirit. This is the reason you find that the Catholic Church has stubbornly held firm in it's teachings throughout history despite the reality of sometimes having corrupt individuals as members.

Yes, members of the Church can be corrupt. Jesus didn't guarantee us that the members of His Church would be perfect, and certainly many of them haven't been (as the media will surely not let you forget). Rather, Jesus guaranteed us that the Church itself, as a whole, would still always proclaim His correct and unchangeable teachings. Jesus, who is the source of truth, is the same now as He was back then, and so His teachings will never change.

This is why many in secular society today find the Catholic Church so "stubbornly" standing in the way of "progress" by holding on to such "outdated" and "old fashioned" teachings even in the 21st Century. These people hold on the the erroneous and futile illusion that a Pope could or would change any of these "pesky" teachings. They should not hold their breath waiting to see if the next Pope will change anything. The next Pope will still be guided by the Holy Spirit to proclaim God's laws. Even if the next Pope is a disappointment as a man, which has happened before, he will still be guided by the Holy Spirit to not pollute any Church teaching.

The author of the article below (Paul Donovan writing for cnn.com) is a perfect example of one holding on to such false hope. He harks back to the days of the Vatican II Council and all the "progress" he perceives he brought. He is wrong. While he is correct that Vatican II may have changed a few minor details (such as the adoption of the vernacular language for Mass) Vatican II didn't change a single teaching on faith and morals. In fact, Vatican II upheld and reiterated all of the Church's eternal and unchanging teachings (such as contraception). The author is under the illusion that a future "Vatican III" could change some of these teachings that he disagrees with.

Vatican II had no authority to change any Catholic teachings just as Vatican III will not and Vatican XXXIII will not. Pope John XXIII didn't have this authority, Benedict XVI doesn't, and the next Pope won't. These Popes and the Councils they convene and the Encyclicals these issue have always and will always continue to uphold the eternal and sacred teachings that flow from Christ the King who established them to do just that and always that.

Reaping the Consequences

Skyrocketing divorce rates, broken homes, incurable sexually transmitted diseases, rampant pornography, abortion, AIDS, homosexuality, abuse of women. These horrible things are our reality in Western Society today. These are the consequences that Pope Paul VI warned society would suffer if we accepted contraception. These prophecies, in the 1968 Papal Encyclical Humanae Vitae sec 17, have all come to pass.

Let's look at a few of them:

We are fallen beings, prone to weaknesses and temptations, needing incentives to stay on the moral path. If we try to take away the natural consequence of sex (pregnancy), then recreation sex will become acceptable and widespread. Anyone with a brain and a set of eyes can see that this has come to pass. STDs that didn't even exist back in 1960 are rampant today and spread through widespread recreational sex.

If we separate sex from procreation, then adultery will become easier, since there will be less of a chance of an unintended pregnancy. A divorce rate of over 50% is all the proof you need that this prophecy came true.

As Pope Paul VI said, a general lowering of moral standards will ensue after society accepts contraception. Pornography and everything that follows it (addiction, perversions and every manner of devious behavior) is become almost normal today.

If a man uses contraception when having sex with a woman, in order to enjoy sexual pleasure without the natural consequences, then he may start to look at her as only a sex object. He may not want to marry her and take care of her, and will instead forget her dignity and degrade her. Sure enough, in our society today we have abused women, single mothers, strippers and hookers, all degraded and reduced to mere sex toys, not valued wives, deserving of dignity.

Finally, his Holiness warned that if contraception was adopted by a society that men and women would start to ignore the natural law and stop practicing self control in marriage in the regulation of births. Governments may then start to promote or even require contraception. The Obamacare HHS mandate is the clearest example you could ask for.

Other consequences that Pope Paul VI didn't explicitly mention also followed the acceptance of contraception. The slaughter of babies through abortion is the best example. Since sex becomes all about pleasure when people use contraception, and they attempt to block procreation, they resort to killing the baby when contraception fails.

The Church reiterates God's Law that sex is primarily for married couples to procreate but also to show their unity and love for each other. Both purposes are required. Sex is not about one person pleasing himself, but about participating in God's plan of creation. Sex is an image of the love between the Father and Son in the Holy Trinity, begetting the Holy Spirit. Sex is also an image of Jesus uniting Himself with His bride, the Church, and with each of us in Holy Communion. Instead, society has turned sex into something twisted, perverted and used for selfish ends. We are now reaping the consequences of this.

The Reality of Sin

Man is a creature composed of body and soul, existing in both the material and spiritual world. The evil one tries to lead us into sin, promising that it will please our bodies and make us happy. Really, sin results in the punishment of both body and soul in this world and in the next. Sin results in us suffering in this world AND in the next.

Society tells us that having casual sex with anyone we want will make us free and happy. Sex is for pleasure and not restricted to marriage. Actually, while we're in this world, it leads to suffering in the form of unintended pregnancies, venereal diseases, broken marriages, hurt feelings and wasted time. If we die in an unrepentant state, it leads to eternal damnation in the next world.

Society tells us that pornography and deviant sexual practices are our right and our choice because they make us free and happy. In reality, in this world we suffer as we become slaves to these perversions. They result in addictive fetishes, molestation, diseases and leave us unable to have natural relations with the opposite sex. If we die in these sins, we continue to suffer in eternal flames in the next world.

Society tells us that drugs and alcohol are our choice and lead to freedom and happiness. Actually, they lead to addiction and slavery in this world. Soon, we find that our addiction has destroyed our bodies, ruined our health, taken all of our money, destroyed our relationships and led us into crime and violence. If we persist in these sins, the suffering continues in the next world, when not only our bodies but our souls destroyed in Hell.

Society tells us that money will make us happy. We are led to believe that we should chase after money at all costs because it will enable us to buy material things which are the only means for happiness. In reality, we end up trampling over our fellow man, taking advantage of others and compromising our values. Since no amount of money ever makes us happy, we constantly chase after more. On earth, we live a hollow and empty life and our money counts for nothing at the end of it. If we don't repent, we suffer eternal flame in the next world.

Christ established His Church to guide us in the world. When we follow the Church's rules we are actually following Christ's rules. by doing so, we can experience some happiness in this world and, God willing, we will be happy with Him in the next.

Proposed Law to Legalize Homosexual Marriage in France Uniting People in Opposition

Since homosexual relations violate nature, it doesn't take a Catholic to see that calling them "marriage" is wrong. The French parliament is debating a bill which would legalize homosexual marriage. Most people see that a government law that forces us to pretend that homosexual sex is the same thing as marriage is bad news. This is tantamount to thumbing our nose at God (and you don't have to take my word for it: take one look at the photos of the homosexual activists demonstrating in Paris and you'll see many of them holding signs with vulgar language saying exactly that). The good news? People from all religions and beliefs are uniting in their opposition to this.

Our Jewish brothers are among the many calling for a strong defense of marriage. French Rabbi Gilles Bernheim said that a small number of homosexual activists are pushing this agenda on society in order to soften it up and ready it for a later attack on other fundamentals of society.

Pope Benedict XVI agreed with Rabbi Bernheim. The Holy Father has been outspoken in his warning of the ramifications of society allowing homosexual marriage. He said that it follows "a concept of human nature that has proven defective".
http://www.jewishjournal.com/world/article/pope_praises_french_rabbis_essay_against_gay_marriage

Archbishop of Paris, Andre Vingt-Trois slammed the homosexual marriage bill, saying it undermines a child's basic right "to know one's parents and be raised by them". Fellow Cardinal Philippe Barbarin also said that this bill would "herald a complete breakdown in society", including rising "polygamy, paedophilia and incest."
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/9659058/French-gay-marriage-plans-a-sham-that-will-smash-foundations-of-society.html

Hundreds of thousands (some say millions) of people took to the streets on January 13th to protest the gay marriage bill. Catholics, Jews, Protestants, atheists and even gays participated. Many in the Muslim community have joined the protest.
http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/13/world/europe/france-marriage-rights-protest

The group "La Manif Pour Tous" or "The March For All" has led the fight against the abomination of allowing homosexual couples to adopt children. They promise another march in Paris on March 24th.
http://www.ewtnnews.com/catholic-news/World.php?id=6980

Faithful Catholics might have reason to be disheartened when they read the news and see that even in a traditionally strong Catholic countries, the cultural decline is accelerating rapidly. Disguised under such euphemisms as "progress" and "tolerance", sexual perversions are being pushed on us. The foundations of society, such as the family, are being destroyed. We can't back down. We have to stay strong in Christ and keep Him at the center of our society. We have to fight to the end because Christ expects no less.

Will the Boy Scouts lift their ban on open homosexuals?

Will the Boy Scouts lift their ban on open homosexuals?

The Boy Scouts could take a lesson from the Catholic Church in America. The Church has a clear policy against allowing men who practice homosexual behavior to be ordained but this didn't stop many of these men from becoming priests, especially in places such as the Archdiocese of Boston. The results sadly came to light in 2002.

In the Church abuse scandal, over 80% of the victims were male. Fewer than 5% were pre-pubescent males. In a report released a few years ago by LifeSiteNews, psychiatrist Dr. Richard Fitzgibbons cited these statistics and said that the genesis of the abuse crisis lay in the homosexual tendencies of the priests. (link below)

Indeed, the dangers of allowing openly homosexual men to have such close access to boys and young men was not lost on the Vatican. They reaffirmed the Church's prohibition on gay men in the priesthood in 2005 with their document "Instruction". (link below)

This does not mean that all people who have homosexual tendencies or feelings are evil. It simply means they suffer from a disorder that may make them incompatible with the priesthood, at least until they can overcome it. In any case, the Catholic Church reaches out to gay people and calls them to a life of chastity in order to grow closer to Jesus.

Girls and boys are separated in scouting for obvious reasons. It wouldn't be right for boy scouts (who may be becoming sexually attracted to girl scouts) to be sharing tents with those girl scouts. Even if the boys were perfectly trustworthy and chaste, it could still make the girls uncomfortable or lead to bad situations. It would be asking for trouble. In the same way, it would be asking for trouble to ask boys to share tents with openly homosexual scouts who are attracted to those boys.

No sane parent would want their boy to go on a camping trip with a gay man as a scoutmaster or to share a tent with an openly gay scout. Even if the homosexuals are not any more prone to molestation than heterosexuals, it would still be wrong because of the sexual attraction present.

Now is the time for the Boy Scouts to man up. Now is the time for them to stick to their principles. Now is not the time for them to back down to pressure from homosexual activists. Just because the culture is rotting and collapsing around the Boy Scouts, and acceptance of homosexuality is become the norm doesn't mean that the Boy Scouts should put their young boys at risk. Allowing homosexuals in Boy Scouts would be asking for a disaster similar to the one that unfolded in the Archdiocese of Boston in 2002.

The "Standing With Hobby Lobby" Facebook page has more than 30,000 members who commit to shop at Hobby Lobby and support them in their fight for religious liberty. Imagine: in the "Land of the Free" a company is forced to sue the Federal Government in order to be able to follow their beliefs. Let's support Hobby Lobby.

http://blog.heritage.org/2013/01/01/beware-obamacares-looming-conscience-cliff/

Over the years, sexual immorality has become widespread in our culture, but up until recently, one could chose whether or not to participate. If you were a Christian, believed in God and believed that contraception, abortion and sexual promiscuity were wrong, you could chose to not participate, fund or enable them in any way. This applied whether you were a priest, an ordinary citizen or a business owner.

Now, the Obama administration appears hell-bent on forcing all of us to participate in our culture's sins. If you own a business, for instance, and believe that abortion-inducing drugs are wrong, Obamacare forces you to purchase health insurance for your employees covering these drugs. For the time being, it appears that if you are a solely religious institution (Churches, monasteries, ect.) you will be exempt. All others will be compelled to fund and enable an act that they consider to be murder.

There are plenty of pending lawsuits seeking to block implementation of this insidious policy, and encouraging signs coming out of the courts that religious liberty may prevail. We'll have to wait and see what the future holds. Even if the Obama administration is forced to back down, and Christians and Catholics are permitted to go back to following their consciences, they may still remember the shiver they got down their spines as they remember that their government tried to persecute them. They will still wonder what is coming next.

http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865569716/Hobby-Lobby-to-defy-Obamacare-contraception-mandate-face-millions-in-fines.html?pg=all

When the Romans demanded that all of their citizens demonstrate submission to the pagan gods by offering incense, the early Christians had to make a decision. Would they serve God or Rome?

Here is a company that has been forced to make a similar decision: whether they will serve God or the federal government. The Hobby Lobby will face daily fines of $1.3 million because of their unwillingness to violate their religious beliefs. They will refuse to provide "healthcare" plans to their employees covering contraceptive and abortion-inducing drugs. The Obamacare HHS mandate requires most private companies to provide "healthcare" coverage including birth control, sterilization and abortifacients, hence the fines. The "Religious Exemption" does not apply to them. Hobby Lobby appealed to the Supreme Court to block enforcement of this mandate, but were rejected. The battle is far from over. They are allowed to continue their legal battle back in the lower courts and could very well come back to the Supreme Court if they lose there. Still, given that we are now being forced to sue to maintain our religious liberties, it is scary to think what the future might hold.
