Are Your Children Being Exposed To The Homosexual Agenda?

Since gay couples cannot have children of their own, homosexual activists are taking aim at your kids. They want to desensitize and condition them to be ready to accept their sexual perversion and deviant behavior. Under the guise of "diversity" or "inclusiveness" or "equal rights", they are pushing this agenda on your kids little by little. Here are just a few recent examples.

The California Department of Education is now mandating homosexual themed books for children in all grades.

"It's Elementary" is a homosexual propaganda film aimed at helping homosexual activist teachers in desensitizing their students.

In Maine, a school came under fire for allowing their children to be exposed to a presentation by a group of perverts, teaching them about homosexual foreplay during a "Diversity Day" presentation.

In Massachusetts a school allowed a blasphemous play to be shown to kids which offended many Christians. The homosexual themed play made a mockery of the Biblical book of Genesis.

In Massachusetts, if a confused boy thinks he is a girl, he will be allowed to use the girl's bathroom and locker rooms. A girl who wants to be a boy will be extended the same privilege.

We should be teaching children that everyone is a child of God, and should be treated with respect regardless of whatever psychological disorder they have. We should be helping people with same-sex attraction or with gender identity disorder to seek psychological help in order to overcome their condition. We shouldn't be enabling or encouraging them in their destructive sins. And above all, we should be teaching children in school the subject material they need to be successful in life. They should learn (when old enough) that sex is exclusively between married men and women in order to show their love and to procreate and that everyone else is called to chastity. We should not be teaching students how to have sex, whether heterosexual or any other type.

Kristy Howard, the parent of one of those kids in Maine exposed to the Diversity Day presentation summed it up perfectly by saying "I don't want my child taught heterosexual foreplay, let alone homosexual foreplay".

Pope Benedict XVI spoke of this problem this past December. He said that this new LGBT movement is dangerous because “the very notion of being--of what being human really means--is being called into question.” Humans are created male and female. Sex between these males and females creates new life, and ensures the continuation of the human race. Men and women are thus two halves of a whole. We are each given one of those genders and are then made to accept and make sense of it, joining together to create children. When we try to have sex with the same gender, change genders or act as the opposite gender, we are going against this natural structure of the family. We don't want to be dependent on the other gender to complete us. People who engage in this behavior know they cannot create new life, but still sometimes feel they have a right to a child. The child becomes an object whose own rights are cheapened.

Jesus Accepts Everyone?

Confused Catholics who hold on to the illusion that the Church will some day embrace contraception, sexual immorality, the homosexual lifestyle or any other sin often point to the fact that Jesus associated with sinners and embraced everyone. This does not mean that Jesus condoned their actions. This is like saying that a doctor accepts cancer and thinks tumors are good to have, because he hangs out on the oncology floor with cancer patients all the time.

Jesus engaged with sinners specifically to call them to repentance. In Matthew 9:10 when Jesus ate with sinners and tax collectors, the Pharisees reproached Him. Jesus told them bluntly that this was necessary to help them turn to God just as it would be necessary for a sick person to receive the care of a Doctor. Jesus wasn't taking part in or accepting their sinful lifestyle, but helping them to turn away from it.

In John 8: 1-11, when Jesus told the Jews not to stone the adulterous woman, He wasn't condoning adultery. He mercifully told her that He would forgive her, but that she was to "sin no more".

Saint Paul chastises us in 1 Corinthians 15: 33-34 "Do not be deceived. Bad Company ruins good morals. Come to a sober and righteous mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to our shame." That is, we are not to consort with sinners, accepting or partaking in their lifestyle.

This does not mean that we are to stop helping our neighbor regardless of their sins, while calling them to repentance. The Corporal Works of Mercy command us to minister to the sick, imprisoned, homeless, ect. while The Spiritual Works of Mercy call us to help them turn away from their sins. Jesus instituted the sacrament of reconciliation for the exact purpose of receiving sinners back into communion with Him.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church sums it up nicely in section 1443: "During his public life Jesus not only forgave sins, but also made plain the effect of this forgiveness: he reintegrated forgiven sinners into the community of the People of God from which sin had alienated or even excluded them. A remarkable sign of this is the fact that Jesus receives sinners at his table, a gesture that expresses in an astonishing way both God's forgiveness and the return to the bosom of the People of God."

Jesus accepts everyone. Everyone who turns back to Him.

Pope Francis Lays Down the Hammer, Reminds Us of Church's True Mission

We hear the calls coming from secular society, the media, politicians and confused Catholics about the direction the Church needs to go in. She must open up and allow the laity to help decide moral issues, must allow women priests, embrace homosexuality and catch up with the times on issues like contraception, abortion and every other new trendy pursuit.

These people don't understand the nature of Holy Mother Church, but luckily the Holy Father wasted no time this morning in his first homily as Pope in reminding us about exactly what the Church's mission is.

"We can walk all we want, we can build many things, but if we don't proclaim Jesus Christ, something is wrong. We would become a compassionate NGO and not a Church which is the bride of Christ...He who does not pray to the Lord prays to the devil. When we don't proclaim Jesus Christ, we proclaim the worldliness of the devil, the worldliness of the demon."

That is, The Church is not simply a worldly charitable organization, subject to the whims and tastes of a majority of it's human members, conforming it's positions to whatever current socially acceptable practices it sees around it. It is the Bride of Christ and at the same time His Mystical Body, with the sole purpose of leading souls to Heaven, by teaching them His laws. It is accountable to and guided by God and God only.

Her Priests are not glorified social workers, striving to conform to whatever debauchery and societal ills their flock is engaging in so that they don't offend them. They are men who take the place of Christ at The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, uniting us, His Bride, with Him. Their mission is to feed us Christ's Body and Blood, forgive our sins in His name and to guide us to Heaven to be with Him.

As Pope Francis says, we are called to be holy. We are called to seek Christ first. When we don't do this, we are cooperating with the Evil One.

The Church has a clear social mission, and the Holy Father has provided us with a wonderful example of how this works. Regardless of whether or not a person is a sinner, we are commanded by Our Blessed Lord to minister to that person's needs. We are not, however, to enable that person in their sins, by refusing to condemn them. Christ told us to love our neighbor. When we love some one, we want to provide them with food and clothes, but also we want to help free them from the slavery of sin. We want them to be happy with Jesus in Heaven forever. When we refuse to do this, we aren't doing them any favors, and are in fact, proclaiming "the worldliness of the devil."

Clearing Up the Catholic Teaching on Homosexuality

Sex was designed by God for the continuation of the human race. It's first purpose is procreation and it's second purpose is to foster unity between a husband and wife. The Catholic Church is very clear that any sexual act which deliberately blocks procreation becomes totally about selfish pleasure and is immoral. This means condoms, masturbation, homosexual sex, ect.

Gay sex does not result in procreation. It is solely about pleasure, and is invalid. Homosexual couples sometimes claim a right to have a child but since this is impossible, they often seek to adopt children born from from some other heterosexual relationship. Homosexuals who adopt children may be harming these children in the long term. Sure, children are sometimes harmed in heterosexual households but that doesn't mean we should seek these situations out.

University of Texas sociology professor Mark Regnerus conducted a study which found that children who lived with same sex parents face social and emotional problems more often than children who lived with both a mother and father.

Recent CDC statistics reinforce the already well known fact that men who have sex with other men are at a dramatically higher risk of contracting HIV/AIDS. This may be due to the inherent risk of man-on-man sex, but also to the fact that fidelity is much less common among gays. The 1978 research done by Alan P. Bell and Martin S. Weinberg showed that homosexuals are much more promiscuous than heterosexuals.

There is a lot of other research showing the harmful effects of homosexuality on individuals, including higher instances of drug use and psychological problems.

People who claim that the Catholic Church hates gays are misinformed or being dishonest. The Church is very clear in it's Catechism that homosexual actions are disordered and never acceptable, however, people with homosexual tendencies are to be treated with respect and dignity. The Church wants them to be free from the negative consequences that homosexual behavior brings about. They are called to live as Christians in chastity. The Church approved a ministry to help homosexuals in their struggle. The Catholic Church is the world's largest private provider of care to HIV/AIDS victims. Even the Gay Alliance knows this, as they encourage homosexuals afflicted with HIV/AIDS to seek out Catholic Charities on their website.

Catholic and Pro-Abortion?

In New York state, the rate of abortion is twice the national average and in parts of New York city, as many as 60% of pregnancies end in abortion. A woman can get an abortion at any stage of the pregnancy, even late term, as long as her "life is at risk". Governor Andrew Cuomo, however thinks that there aren't enough abortions and so he is pushing to change state law to make them even easier to get. He now wants to allow abortions when the woman's "health" is at risk. This all according to Dr. Anne Nolte, a family physician, who knows a thing or two about women's health. She is leading a protest against Gov. Cuomo's plans. She says that a pregnant woman's "health" in this sense, doesn't only mean her physical health, but her mental health as well. So essentially unrestricted access to abortion will be allowed as long as a woman can get a doctor to certify that she is experiencing anxiety.
Dr. Nolte explains the real effects of abortion on women

Gov. Cuomo, supposedly a practicing Catholic, is supporting a grave evil, is in danger of losing his soul, and is taking millions of Catholic with him, by his bad example. The fact that public figures like him support the murder of innocent babies and then masquerade as decent "Catholics" causes scandal to others. Other Catholics see that one can support abortion, and still remain a Catholic in good standing, because the Bishops are not excommunicating them or even speaking out much against it. People that say that politicians should not impose their morality on others are wrong. What's good for Catholics is also good for others. Simple research shows that people from all faiths, doctors and even atheists see that abortion is wrong.

This is not the case in other countries. Catholic politicians in Latin America are held to account for their actions by their Bishops.

Holy Father Benedict XVI, now Pope Emeritus, travelled to Latin America back in 2007 while many of these predominantly Catholic countries were considering legalizing abortion. Then-Pope Benedict said that Catholic politicians who support or vote for intrinsic evils such as abortion incur automatic excommunication on themselves (in accordance with Canon Law) and therefore cannot not receive Holy Communion.
Pope Benedict tells pro-abortion Catholic politicians they are excommunicated

A Bishop in Uruguay stated in October of 2012 that all of the Catholic politicians in his country who voted to legalize abortion incurred automatic excommunication on themselves.

The purpose of excommunication is not to seek vengeance on those who we disagree with politically. It is to stop the grave scandal being caused to other Catholics by public figures, thereby helping them save their souls. It is also meant to be a wake up call to the individual politician for him to repent and save his own immortal soul. Let's ask our Bishops to set a good example and hold people within the Church accountable so that we all will live our lives in accordance with Christ's laws and be happy with Him forever in Heaven someday.
